Everyone wanted to play with our beautiful new present called the marimba. It’s a traditional instrument, made of blocks of wood that you hit with a stick. The kids sat together in small groups, all wanting to play the marimba, but also happy to listen to the beautiful sounds while they waited.
The marimba has a very nice and unique sound, which some of the kids said is like a phone ring tone. It was out first time to see it.
And the marimba doesn’t only entertain the kids. Even people passing by catch the sound and come over to ask what is it and what for.
